Which LMI kit does your machine need?
Each kit is specified per machine type, because what makes a crane, an excavator and an aerial platform unstable is different:
- LMI-CR — lattice-boom, telescopic and tower cranes. The full rated-capacity limiter: load pin, angle sensors, a 7" colour touchscreen and a wireless data link to the SNTech cloud, with ±1% load accuracy and ±0.1° boom-angle sensing.
- LMI-EX — hydraulic excavators and material handlers. A 3D stability calculation across slew angle, boom, stick and bucket, because an excavator's tip-over risk changes continuously as it slews and extends.
- LMI-ML — aerial work platforms, scissor lifts and boom lifts. A platform load cell and dual-axis inclinometer with automatic platform lock-out, against basket overload and working on an excessive slope.

Which LMI kit do I need for my machine?

How does the excavator LMI prevent tip-over?
LMI-EX calculates the machine's real-time stability margin in 3D from slew angle, boom, stick and bucket position, and gives the operator an in-cab audio-visual alert as the margin shrinks. Its sensors are IP67 waterproof.
What does the manlift LMI do on overload or a slope?
LMI-ML measures platform load with a load cell and tilt with a dual-axis inclinometer. When the basket is overloaded or the machine exceeds its configurable slope limit, it alerts through the in-cab display and buzzer and automatically locks out the platform.
Are the LMI kits ARAMCO compliant?
Saudi Aramco requires a functioning, calibrated LMI on every mobile crane in its facilities. SNTech's crane kit is certified to EN 13849 and AS 1418.5, and the excavator and manlift kits are listed as ARAMCO-compliant (alongside OGUK and IPAF respectively).
